I would like to nominate Ben Sheets ;-D

Especially now that he doesn't have to pitch with a herniated disc like he did all last season. Now that he'll be able to bend over without pain, he's sure to fail.

Call me crazy but I don't think anyone will live up to the Riley hype, I just don't see another 10+ thread coming from some SP :-b

And well, I never understood why people liked Ensberg....

I was never on the Riley or Ensberg train, but I wonder about Ensberg this year. He hit well after getting regular playing time...

I'll be keeping an eye on him.

I drank some of Morgans Koolaid. on a couple teams. Even passed up Aramis for Morgan in one draft. The next morning the signed Lamb. :~(

I'm sure there are more but I just scanned over the Cafe rankings. I also just looked at youngsters. Vets to come soon...

Just for my own humor, what's not to like about Miguel Cabrera. Don't tell me you think he just made it to the Majors because his dad was dying too. ;-7

I hope you're just saying that he's good...but not 2nd round good?

I don't think we can pick an Over-hyped player just yet. In order to be over hyped, they first have to fail to meet the expectations. If Riley or Ensberg would have panned out then they wouldn't be called over - hyped, they would be great pick-ups who surpassed the hype.

We could select Bonderman as most over Hyped, but if he manages to win the Cy-Young, would anyone call him over-hyped?

Plus, no one is going to nominate someone if they have bought into the hype, it is a award to look back on and realize that you got duped.

I think Josh Beckett was the most overhyped player last season - but I think this list is refering players who shouldn't of had a place on your roster anyway, but because of the hype they found their way on to it.
