The only thing which upset me about the draft was the early (the WAY too early) run on closers. I was "forced" into drafting one early, because the format is pretty unforgiving if you have a bad bullpen. You can get negative points easily if your closer has a rough night.

Didn't doubt you at all. !+)

Still think you're drafting with some dummies though. I mean, look at "Royals with cheese"--with his first five picks, all he's got is Bonds, Lidge, Dotel, Nathan, and Halliday (not a single hitter who isn't sitting out for the first two months). And how about "The Skowhegan Bandits"? With his first four picks, he's got Gagne, Hudson (!), Beltre, and Benitez (?!).

I know a good closer really helps in the fantasy points style league, but still! Don't you have a games limit in that league? I guess their strategy might be to just max out on those games and then trade their closers away.

Thanks again for all the discussion... I had no idea it would drift into the merits of FP vs. Roto, but that is the beauty of message boards... nice chat!
