I would MUCH rather have Vidro. Boone is done.

BOONE

I like him a lot. Spring Training is not a good indicator and he had laser eye surgery and there are trends in lasik and career numbers....just saying.

soriano
giles
boone

is how i rate 2B

but you can call me crazy. i am a fantasy baseball moron

My cheatsheet was similar to that last year.

Do you honestly expect a Boone rebound at the age of 36?

i would rather have boone, at least as far as h2h leagues go. vidro will have a clear advantage in average but boone should have more homers, rbi and steals. not sure about runs.

I'd take Boone as well. Mainly for the reasons stated above. And it's not like Vidro is coming off a banner year. There's a much greater chance of Boone putting up numbers this year batting 3rd in the Mariners offence then Vidro batting 2nd in the Nationals offence.

Boone by a mile. Never underestimate the power of a contract year. Plus, he should have a ton of runners to knock in with that lineup this year.

boone by a decent margin

vidro offers little besides a good average

i am not a big believer in boone having a huge rebound but he should still be included in the top 5 2B (soriano, giles, kent, REYES)

I caught a portion of the Mariners game on the radio on Saturday and the announcers were commenting on Boone's notorious lousy spring numbers. Boone isn't going to put up 2002 numbers again, but I look for his average to be .270ish with 25-30 home runs. I'll take that over vidro for this year.
