It will probably never happen, but us Stros fans and all those Griff owners would love it!

The Rays are going to trade Upton and Kazmir for Griffey. Watch. They sign or try to acquire over-the-hill/injury-prone (in this case the latter) like anything. It's probably their trick to excite casual baseball fans.

I hope the Astros don't fall for it.

Nice try warrick, but not even the Rays are that dumb :-b

Maybe check with the Mets though, they could trade Milledge and Humber or Petit ;-7

It's being reported on Cincy radio that the Reds have been in discussions with TB about Kazmir. Looks like TB is starting to realize what the Mets already knew.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Don't tell me you believe everything you hear on the radio, Kazmir is not going anywhere. It's been said several times Upton, Kazmir, and Young would not be traded. Don't be bitter now...

There have been lots of rumors, even that the rays are interested in Pena (though I don't see that happening at all). The most likely case is they get some cheap substitue OF.
