It's true though. IMAX wouldn't make much by bringing that movie in, so I don't really blame them for passing. Wouldn't be a smart business move to purchase something that you cannot sell when selling is your business.
I would sell. "This is an evolution supporting film" isn't in the title. It's about Volcanos! Maybe some religous groups would try to make it more about anti-christianism but that would only boost awarness and sales. Any press is good press.
They just don't want any bad PR.
This is all a form of censorship. Evil Reds states go away!!!!!!!!
Hey, I agree. Silly not to show it, but if they are looking at the financial aspect of it, then it's smarter business not to bring it in. I happen to live in Texas and can tell you the media would eat them alive if enough groups spoke out about it. People would be afraid to go due to the possibility of being shot. Just how it is here. Personally, I like movies about natural disasters. Twister, 10.5, Armageddon, etc.
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
