This happened last season when someone made up some crud about a star getting injured. In this case it seems like the poster himself was duped prior to posting, but seriously, I agree. People should face consequences for willfully posting hoaxes. It's just plain wrong. But yes, everyone should (as a stupid consequence of stuff like this) confirm their info before acting. It is a shame that so many people have to bend backwards thanks to a few idiots that like to mess around...

OK, I agree if someone is doing this constantly and is disrupting the boards they should be banned. Like someone stated, it looked like the poster was himself duped. I am sure the original person that did it never intended for it to go this far. Open forums are a great source of info but you should still always check the sources. }:-)
