the fact that its a 14 team league makes iizturis and castillo pretty decent and ur definitely rite about the closer situation. Maybe one of those OF for a top flite closer?

nice team for a 14 team league. I don't like Castillo, but would be happy with Izturis. As for the closer thing, Dotel is gonna do good things, and Ryan won't be terrible. I might look for another closer, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Your starters are very solid... overall a very nice team.

Oh, and Estrada will do you fine- I expect him to continue to improve- his OBA and AVG are very nice, and his plate discipline is good- expect those to translate to increasing runs and rbis, as I think his last year totals were a bit low for as good an OBA as he had.

I like this team a lot ;-D ;-D

(yay, that means I'm a cool person!)

For a 14 team league I think it looks really strong, although i typically do 10 or less team leagues. You have a strong outfield, and a good core in Peavy and Hudson. BJ ryan and dotel are good for a 14 team league In my opinion.

I give your team an 8.8 out of 10. Should compete for the crown if you left it as it is, couple moves could finish it off for you.

Excellent for a 14 team league ;-D

Agree with the previous poster. Already solid team, a few more adjustments and the title should be yours!

I like your team, especially in a 14 team league....both offense and pitching are pretty well balanced for a 5x5 league. I think your C is fine, don't worry about Estrada. If your starting pitching can hold up all year, you should be a top 3 team.....

I like the team. I am not really sure why people don't like Izturis. SS is a known weak position. He has improved every year in the league. You know he doesn't have power but .288 AVG, 90 runs, 25 SBs, 62 RBIs from SS is not garbage. I have him on my team and don't expect a stud but I don't think he hurts the team either. Just MO.

Feel free to return the favor

I like your team it looks good to me smart starting a very solid setup man over a 5th starter on someones team, make sure to follow up and coming pitchers though to try and grab one off the WW every year people emerge
