Keeper discussion (WHIR)

Postby fish72292 » Sun Aug 12, 2012 9:22 pm

This post is for all of us in keeper and dynasty leagues that are out of it this year and looking to rebuild. Let's here some of your top sleeper keepers for next year. Maybe some good trade candidates for people rebuilding even minor leaguers if you think they'll make that big of an impact. Maybe some guys who have had not that great of years and are poised for bounce back years (ie. Ian Kennedy, Eric hosmer). Leave a few and well get a discussion going and I'll help with any links if you leave them. I'm trying to start a good discussion not just everyone saying yeah I agree haha thanks everyone!

I had to dismantle my championship team from last year due to high keeper prices and traded off some players for young talent and got bit by a trifecta of sophomore slumps. Just a few guys to look for that SHOULD be cheap(er) or buy low candidates...

Eric Hosmer
Desmond Jennings
Bret Lawrie
Justin Upton
Jason Heyward (Think window is closing fast though)
Brandon Belt
Dominic Brown (Remember him?)
Wil Myers
Zack Wheeler
Manny Machado
Anthony Rizzo
Brett Jackson

Just threw out a few names. If you're in a competitive league, these guys are already accounted for.

I like all of these guys too maybe not Jackson he strikes out way too much. Also like Tulo, Daniel Hudson, Brett Anderson, Victor Martinez really anyone who has been good in the past but was inured this season or someone who is just having a down year but has proven to be good during their career.
