Hello everyone. I am the commissioner for a new money league. Ideally looking to make this league 16 to 30 teams. League will be played on fantrax. League fees and cash prizes will be collected and awarded directly from fantrax. League buy in is $40.00. I am working with fantrax to include this in the cost of your team. Our everyday board is located on our proboards site , http://phantasmsports.proboards.com/ind ... 223&page=1
We do have a league application which is pretty basic but self explantatory. If you have any questions feel free to respond here or email me at email@example.com
. I will answer any questions. Thanks again.http://phantasmsports.proboards.com/ind ... phansmoney
Teams Identities, roster size and draft
Each owner will select a real major league team. The roster sizes will be 40 man major league roster and 20 man minor league roster.
initial roster set up as follows. Each owner will select 25 players from there organization to place on the 40 man roster. Each organization will also select 10 of your organizations minor league players to be placed on your minor league roster.
1st year draft will consist of 15 rounds of major league players ( bench or reserve ) and 10 rounds of minor league players which will go on your minor league roster.
Team Cost and payment options
there are three ways to pay for your team.
1. Commissioner can pay the one time fee of $59.95 for the cost of Fantrax. The commissioner can then include the cost of your team to the Fantrax Treasurer. Cost of the team would be a minimum of $2.00 and no more than $5.00. Depending on the size of the league
2. Commissioner could pay for his team and then set each team to pay fantrax seperately from the treasury fund of $40.00
Buying team shares
In the event that a team wants to have a GM that only wants to buy the team but not buy into the Treasury for winnings then any owner that has already paid into the treasury can purchase the team treasury which would be seperate from the cost of the team. No current owner can buy into more than two teams. This will prevent a unbalanced invironment.
If you have any questions please ask commissioner.

Team cost and buy ins
depending on the size of the league the cost of each team is a minimum of $2.00 and a maximum of $5.00. This fee can either be paid by commissioner, that is me, up front to fantrax and then added to then added to each team on the money side of fantrax paid by each of you.
each owner can also pay fantrax directly for the team seperately from buy in as well.
Major league contracts start with 1 year. Each team would have a set amount of extensions to work with, like 20 each year, and you can carry them forward to another year if wanted. These extensions can be used to extend a player up to 5 years. No player can remain with a team for more than 5 years without going through free agency. Extentions will be done once a year, at the conclusion and no later than December 1 at midnight leading into the first. Any player not extended then said player will become a free agent.
Free Agency will begin on January 1 of each year at 7am est.
Examples of Free Agency:
Lets say player A makes $23. I can extend him for no more than 5 years. We will always round to the nearest dollar. For simplistic reasons if players salary would be end in .5 round down and .6 or higher round up. So his salary would be as follows:
$23 x .1 (5 yrs) new salary = $25 per year
$23 x .2 (4 yrs) new salary = $28 per year
$23 x .3 (3 yrs) new salary = $30 per year
$23 x .4 (2 yrs) new salary = $32 per year
$23 x .5 (1 yr) new salary = $34 for one year.
Minor league players would carry a minimum of .200 if minors league players are voted and approved by the league.
Bidding on players:
minimum salary for player is .200k. for the first million bids can increase by .300k. once a bid reaches 2 million then the bid increase will be .500k. Once a big reaches 10 million then each bid must increase a minumum of 1 million and anything above 25 million then the bid must increase no less then 3 million.
Bids are open and high bid bid must stand no more than 48 hours. You can only bid on no more than 5 bids at one time. You can not bid more money on players than you currently have available funds fore.
