Re: Matt Adams or Matt Carpenter

if they felt the only way to get Craig AB and keep him healthy was to play him at 1B, then why call up Adams? there would be no need to call up Adams if he wasn't going to be given an opportunity to play. I'm not suggesting Craig will be on the bench, but he will be more of a super utility. he coul...

Re: 2012 Buy Low/Sell High

If you aren't selling on Darvish you are doing it wrong. What tier of player can Darvish get in a trade? I thought he was fairly valued at about 100+ overall this year and my expectations have increased after seeing him pitch. If I were drafting right now he would fit in perfectly with the pitchers...

Re: 2012 CLOSERS THREAD (1ST HALF)

To clear up the confusion: Mariano did not smile as he was carted off the field. There was a lot of writhing in pain on the dirt, then a slow, somber departure on a John Deere gator. Looked like it had low hours. He did wave twice. He definitely smiled. Here is the whole video: m Please tell me the...

Re: Will Pujols hit a HR in April?

$49....$49.....out of $260....spent on Pujols....in my AL only dynasty....and this....is what....I get?... Question for you....what would you trade him for right now? Or you holding him no matter what? I traded away Pujols for A-Rod + Darvish before his start against the Yankees and am happy with t...

Re: 2012 CLOSERS THREAD (1ST HALF)

Per Rotoworld: "According to the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo, the Angels have inquired on Grant Balfour. The Angels have also shown interest in Joel Hanrahan and Brandon League, but Cafardo believes Balfour is the most logical fit. This would all seem to indicate that Jordan Walden isn't close...

Re: 2012 CLOSERS THREAD (1ST HALF)

Bochy realizes his mistake from last time and solely goes with Casilla this save opportunity and Casilla dominates by striking out the side. Out of all the replacement closers this year, I think by the end of the season, if Casilla solely owns the job (which is what Bochy is definitely leaning towa...

Re: 2012 CLOSERS THREAD (1ST HALF)

Just picked up Mujica...predicting that Bell hits the DL within the next 24 hours. I don't think they'll strip the role from him, they'll just make up an injury to give him some time off.
