Re: I Ask Every Year & Get Great Advice From You Prospect Gu

(1B) A.J. Reed (HOU) - Here is the one guy that stands out to me. The Astros love him and all that really stands in his way is Jon Singleton, who has basically been a bust thus far. I could see Reed starting by May 1st Mazara/Brinson/Judge/Kepler - Maybe they get a call over the summer. These guys c...

It will be interesting to see where Dave Roberts slots him in the lineup. Donnie had him batting 3rd during the postseason. Roster Resource currently projects him to bat 2nd.

Re: Bochy you so funny

Surprised? I'd rather Clayton just get the rest & mow everyone over in the 2nd half.

Re: 2nd half break out players to target

Ross has few very large strikes against him. 1. Ross is sporting a 4.6% BB9. That's pretty bad. The past couple of years may be an anomaly. His MiLB BB9 numbers were also pretty meh. 2. His a big guy. He's long and stays very upright when he delivers. It's a lot of moving parts to repeat over and ov...

Re: WTF it's August already 8/3-8/10 Cheering & Venting

Ill prob get killed for saying this, but I cant stand listening to Vin Scully call games. Maybe I just never heard him broadcast in his prime, but Ive heard way too much of him over the past couple years and he just bores me to tears with uber slow and monotonous drawl. And he makes tons of mistake...

Re: WTF it's August already 8/3-8/10 Cheering & Venting

First game aside, this Dodgers-Angels series has been fantastic viewing so far. Even Dan Haren has decided not to throw batting practice for his start. Best part for Dodgers fans is that the Angles TV broadcasts can be seen locally We out of market Dodger fans can still catch the Dodger telecasts o...

An in season salary cap would solve issues like that. ;-)

Owners doing their diligence solves it too. I am in another league where similar trades (to a much lesser extent) happen. Owners don't give up their stars unless they get elite keepers in return.

Aye- 85.5 and counting. Mark this day on your calendar as the day I passed you for good. LOL - with my $40 pitching staff I never thought I'd last this long but now I don't think you can get by me even when I have a week of lost points. You guys keep fighting amongst yourselves. There are 4 teams i...

Re: **FOURTH OF JULY** WEEK *Cheering * Venting*

why not trade harper? hed get the most in return. Not from a team willing to thrown in the towel and look toward next season already. Harper would be $26 next season versus less than $10 for either Polanco or Springer. I personally would rather deal Harper and keep the kids. The clock is ticking un...

Re: **FOURTH OF JULY** WEEK *Cheering * Venting*

I get to activate Harper ... but someone here needs to go. Trying my hardest to trade, but not even a nibble so far. auction keeper Bruce Melky Polanco Springer Puig Polanco, Springer and Puig are all crazy cheap for 2015. I guess that it's a nice problem to have. Melky if you have to cut someone. ...
