The spreadsheet was a GREAT help last season I'd love to get in again. As always, I'll surely send a few bones your way!

Re: Best late speed OF

No love for Scotty Pods? I was able to grab him for a buck as a 6th OF at auction this weekend and was pretty happy about it. He hit .303 with 75 runs scored and 30 SBs last year in just over 500 ABs. Can't really see anyone threatening him for PT in the Royals outfield this season, so a .290/80 R/4...

Re: Havok's 2010 Top 50 Outfielder Rankings

I think your assessment of Abreu (36th) is a bit off, but I'm not complaining. He's actually been one of my favorite value picks in drafts for each of the past two seasons. In the way that people in FF tend to write off veteran wideouts like Donald Driver and Hines Ward, people quite often tend to w...

Re: Havok's 2010 Top 25 Catcher Rankings

Nice job man, although I'm a bit lukewarm on the Flores ranking. Something tells me the Pudge signing suggests that Flores might not be progressing as well from his surgery as we'd like to think. Really like the J.R. Towles ranking. He could be a nice post-hype cheap flier in deeper two catcher leag...

Re: 40 SB Threats

I'd think that Drew Stubbs certainly has to be in the conversation. He swiped around 45 bags in AAA last year and had another 10 after his August callup. Considering the fact that Dusty praised Stubbs repeatedly late in the season and even kept him as the starter when Willy Tavares returned, you hav...

Looking for some roto advice WHIR

12 team 5x5 auction roto keeper league. My squad is off to a pretty rough start and I sit in 11th place yet only 30 pts out of first as the whole league seems to be pretty tightly bunched. My offense is starting to pick up but my pitching is off to a BRUTAL start. We ran out first pickups of the yea...

Re: Please help with my auction keeper team (just drafted)

I made a deal to improve my infield tonight. I give Chipper Jones ($18) and Freddy Sanchez ($2) for Mike Aviles ($10) and Edwin Encarnacion ($11). I'm not a huge EE guy, but I think he'll be an adequate short term fit until A-Rod comes back. Big fan of Aviles and targeted him late in the draft when ...

Re: Please rate my first auction team...

I kindof agree with the sentiments listed above. Your offense looks very strong except for a fairly significant lack of speed, although judging by your big bats you will be able to make a move at some point down the road. also think the pitching looks very solid. A nice area of depth with which to a...

Please help with my auction keeper team (just drafted)

I just held my 12 team auction keeper league draft this past weekend. $300 cap, 5x5 scoring and we keep up to 12 players each offseason. Anyways here's my lineup w/ an asterisk next to keeper players: C D.Navarro $6 *C Y.Molina $2 *1B J.Morneau $23 2B F.Lopez $2 SS M.Tejada $13 3B C.Jones $18 MI E.R...
