The greatest team ever drafted

Postby Absolutely Adequate » Thu Mar 03, 2005 4:21 pm

I'm just saying - I couldn't hope to do much better than this. It's a h2h league with no innings minimum, so I punted strikeouts most weeks. But that shouldn't be a problem. Feel free to stare in awe if you like. Take a photo for your grandkids. It's perfection in a 12 team h2h league. Perfection.

Very little power indeed, your biggest bat may be Soriano or Berkman, Jones will hit 30 this year, and bat in 100+, but Wright is a questionmark, Green is too, Matsui isn't a very good fantasy SS... and I've never really liked Hidalgo.

Your pitching is a concern. Greinke is a prospect, no promises there. Prior is coming off an injury, Kazmir is a question mark, so is Lowe and Benson's numbers won't be awfully great with the Mets, BJ Ryan is a questionmark and Looper gets hurt a lot.

Lots of high risk, high payoff guys in there. If most of them perform like we all hope, you'll be in good shape. If they don't? You'll be eating in the 8-12 slots all year.

Definitely not the greatest team ever. Your best asset may be your pitching staff and that is adequate-solid.
