Troy Percival
Will he rebound to be a top 10 closer again?
Will Detroit revitalize him?
What do you expect from Percy this season?
Can he hit the 40 save mark? (He doesn't K many, so his Saves have to be high in order to make him a great closer..imho)

Thanks for your advice... ;-D

not a top 10 closer. He might get 40 this yr, but so could 12-15 other closers. I have him around 15th. Uggey will spell him occasionaly. Id still rank him ahead of Mota and Guardado though.

Troy i think has the potential to be a top closer but just cus of whos on the field with him. Pudge.... thats about it though, the starting pitching needs to come around first.

:-?

We have one of the better bullpens in the AL - close to top 5 there. The SPs are better than you may think too. This isnt the 2003 Tigers anymore.

Great offense - easily top 10, a defense thats poor in the OF but very strong in the IF, underrated pitching staff, you are gonna be suprised. ;-D

I would feel comfortable with him as my #2 closer. 40 saves is a possibility.

40 saves is very optimistic. I personally think he'll be around 30, with maybe a DL stint.

I agree with Slomo. Percival cannot go three days in a row anymore and will have to be spelled. I think the Tigers realize that and will hold onto Urbina.

Predicting how many saves a guy is gonna get is next to impossible. Especially with a team that's young and has undergone a lot of changes like Detroit.

If he can stay healthy he'll be real good, but I don't have him ranked in my top 10 for closers.
