he gets some love in yahoo... ranked in the 70's.. hes a good option for triples and steals.. o and his runs will increase this year... he is a great utily type guy
Sorry, Slomo, but Figgins in the 4th is horribly bad. Even if you think he's worth a 4th round pick you could have taken him later (say the 7th) and been assured he'd still be there.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Not necessarily, in a 14 team league I could not be assured of anything. Besides, it was the last pick of the 4th in a 14 teamer....so mid/late 5th in 12 team.
I don't regret it, I know I'll hear about it if he doesn't produce, but I honestly think he will.

SO what is a 2B that has an avg. around .300, score 100+runs, and steal 30+ bases worth?
about the same as Castillo, Freel, Womack, and slightly more than Roberts
I know you're just pulling my chain....but Freel is coming off a knee surgery is doesn't even have a job, Castillo will hit .300 but with 25 steals (and I think Chone will be more like 35), and Womack may or may not even be leading off.
Well no HR and no RBI seriously limit his value. His R's won't go over 100 and his SB won't go over 30 most likely and he's useless in 2 categories. Still he's a good option at 2B since its so weak this year.
Chone Figgins (2B) ANA 3/4/2005
When Adam Kennedy returns, Figgins will slide into his familiar swing role as utility fielder, according to the team's official site. If this happens, Figgins should continue to get pretty regular playing time -- however, you should keep this fact in the back of your mind before drafting Figgins
