Anyone familiar with this site:

and the quality of their rankings. They looks pretty reasonable to me, though like with any rank list you can find a dozen players you completely disagree on. (Like D. Lee over Tex in this one).

The Tiers method IS the way to go... just double check their tiers with yours if you choose to go this route. The Docs tend to over-rate players who were once great, but may now only be very good.

The make the looking back instead of looking forward mistake every year... more so than other sites.

I personally enjoy their rankings. I found them to be very helpful last year. However, I didn't follow their rankings and free-fell a little too far and ended up with crap for pitching. (But that is my own fault)

I don't agree with you about them not rankings young up-and-comers.

They have Corey Patterson ranked as the 12th best OF.

While this site (fantasy baseball cafe) ranks Patterson as the 21st best OF.

At Catcher, they have Victor Martinez ranked as the 2nd best catcher above Javy Lopez (who is 8 years older than Victor Martinez) (This site has Javy over Victor)

As far as Teix being ranked 1 spot behind Lee ... while I love Teix as a player, I am not as sold on him this season as other people are and I think that selecting Lee above him is perfectly acceptable.

While I am sure there are plenty of examples of their site ranking older players above younger players, there are also plenty of examples of youth before age. You can always disagree with other people's rankings, but I just don't see the bias that you are claiming.

I looked it over. i like their teir player rankings by position. I just wish they would all a print version to make it easier.

I gave it a look. All and all, pretty good stuff. No real complaints here with some very decent middle to late round action IMO.
