Miami is ranked #6 in the college polls. I would love to see the college teams face off against an actual major league team to see how bad they would lose. I think every year the worst team inthe majors should play the College World Series winner just for kicks

dontrelle is definitely overrated as he proved through his first full season that he will be nothing more that average. can't fool hitters too long with a goofy leg kick B-)

Today the Pirates beat Valparaiso College 12-0. Combined 6 hitter from the staff with Josh Fogg getting the win.

Zach Duke (top Pirates pitching prospect) struck out the side on 10 pitches in an inning's work! 8-o ;-D :-D

Still, I thought this wasn't saying much beating a college team, then I see this... :-? Well, I bet Miami is a lot better than Valpo.

Ah, there is NOTHING less meaningful than Sprint Training games withthe exception of courseof early Spring Training Games. Basically just glorified workouts.
