Do we have any Brewers fans here? I'm in the 19th round of my 12 team draft and I'm looking to grab another closer. Adams and Dempster are the only ones left but both of them seem like they could easily lose the job. Could Ricky Bottalico take the job from Adams or is he almost a lock to close for the brew crew? Or should I just go for Dempster or Borowski instead? Thanks.
I am going to find the link but I just read this morning that Bottalico is the Closer and if falters Adams will step in. The prefer Adams at setup. Damn I wish I would bookmark this stuff
shock, where ever you got that info. they are whacked, melvin and yost talked to adams within minutes of trading kolb and asked him if he was ready and told him it was basically his job, yes that is before they signed bottalico, but they signed bottalico for the 8th inning not the ninth, adams is going into spring with the closer job his to lose

I hope youa re right because i was about to Adams on my radar as a 4th RP. I have to find this link
Everything out of the Milwaukee area so far is that Adams is the #1 guy with Lehr and Bottalico being possibilities if he falters. His numbers were good last year as a rookie, and I think he's a good sleeper RP pick.

Shock, pretty sure this is wrong. Heard the Brewers GM recently on MLB Radio say Adams was their man.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Either way, as long as Borowski is healthy, as he says he is, no way Dempster is THE closer. He will get some chances, but likely mostly w bigger leads that won't qualify as a save.
