Does anyone know what you need to win a category?

Postby Jimbo OZ » Mon Feb 28, 2005 9:09 pm

I know I have read in the past the average totals for winning a category in standard 12 team 5x5 roto leagues. I can't seem to find any info on it this year.

For example, how many steals would normally ensure you win that category? 100? more?

It would be really handy to know what the average wining totals were so you can manage your team around these figures. I have Podsednik, C Patterson, and Jeter but figure I only need Podsednik and Jeter to win the steals category. hence Patterson is trade bait?

Any help is appreciated.

Hmm I'd be interested to know the average number..I dont usually go by numbers but like players like if I pick up Crawford and some good speed guys like Figgins later I should be able to win steals..

Thanks rlee. That will help me work out where I might have to trade for.

In 23 yahoo leagues my average totals were

runs - 867 high - 965
HR - 231 276
rbi - 864 958
sb - 123 152
avg - .289 .306
w - 88 95
sv - 124 150
k's - 1142 1248
era - 3.31 2.90
