Suzyn Waldman: The New Voice of the Yankees

Postby WharfRat » Mon Feb 28, 2005 5:37 pm

My fellow Yankee fans--just found out that Jon Sterling's new radio partner is non other than the screeching weasel known as Suzyn Waldman. I can't stand this woman--although she's not as bad as Michael Kay. I used to mute the TV and listen to the radio broadcasts when watching the games, so I didn't have to hear that idiot Tim McCarver and the other guys the YES Network employs. Now, looks like I'll have to provide the color commentary MYSELF. Crapola.

Or am I overreacting?

I also just found out that she's the first woman ever to act as color commentator for a Major League team. So, congrats, Suzyn. Dammit all to hell.

I really liked him when he was doing games with Sterling, but after he moved to TV and became a "Pinstripe Pucker," as I've heard them called (from all the Yankee behinds they kiss), and then got his own show on the FAN, it's like his ego blew up. He embarrassed himself after the Yanks lost the ALCS with his whining. What a chump. He's why God made a MUTE button.

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. I'm actually happy now. More radio time means less TV time. I always found that the worst part of her act was actually looking at her.
