Any hope of a trade for a young OF?

The later it goes into spring training, aren't the chances of not getting an OF increase?

I just don't think the guys they have in the OF are going to create any excitement on a consistent basis. I hate platoons, but what is a small market team to do?

The problem is they really don't have much to offer teams in return. No one has taken the bait for Sweeney, although Mench is a possibility as the Rangers still seem interested. If Lil Mac proves he is back in form then either him or Affeldt could be moved, the market for power RP is always out there.

I think Mench would be a nice addition but it doesnt seem that the royals are to anxious to make any deal at all for any outfielder

Unless KC packages some young prospects, it will be difficult to trade for a young OF. They dont have a lot of people banging down their door asking about Matt Stairs.
