DaQ, I'm in the laegue with you...just curious, why do you assume the top 13 will take hitters? Not to say that we won't, but it is true that, according to the spreadsheet of performances last year, the pitchers near the top did better overall than the hitters.

I don't think all 13 owners before me (including you) will take hitters - just most of them probably will. In every draft I've seen, hitters dominate round 1. You have the 4th pick, so this kind of eludes you a little bit (you may only have a couple players to consider for that spot).

We'll see what happens on draft day - even though in our league, the hitters and pitchers are fairly equal, and the pitchers do have an upper hand towards the top, I would be surprised if I saw a decent number of pitchers going in round 1 of our draft. I could be wrong, but I expect a lot of hitters to go in round 1, just like in every other draft.
