this team is in a 12 person 5x5 league...had the #4 pick in a snake draft...nevin and eaton are on the waiver wire and am considering picking up one or both and dropping dempster and another player...any help would be appreciated

I really like your team - no glaring weaknesses anywhere.

Nevin & Eaton are probably both worth picking up, but I don't know who to drop for them. Dempster is the only real candidate, and even he may have some value if he gets the closing role for the Cubs.

The only other option is to try a 2-for-1 trade to open up a roster spot. I'd look for someone who is weak at 2B, and try to trade them Iguchi & Rowand for an upgrade at OF (I don't think Rowand will do as well as last year, but he may be over-valued by some). Then you can pick up Nevin as well.

You could definitely use another closer, and if Borowski is available I'd drop Lane for him so that you'll have a good handle on Chicago's closer situation. If Borowski isn't available then I'd drop Lane for Nevin.

nice draft...I would see if mike gonzalez is on the wire...if not definitely grab another potential closer, prolly instead of lane as mentioned above...otherwise I think yer in a nice position right now...

One more closer and your set. I like Wilkerson this year too. He's useful at a couple different positions, has some power,and I think his average will be better

ok i dropped dempster and lane for nevin and affeldt. i also have a trade proposed that sends rowand and roberts to another team for alphonso soriano....will this help or hurt?
