Free Yahoo! league (H2H, Up to 20 teams?)

Postby RancerDS » Mon Feb 28, 2005 12:06 pm

Hello!

I've created the United Baseball Association in Yahoo!. It is league number 114682. It is a public league, so the competition will vary.

The batting categories are Runs, HR's, RBI's and SB's, as well as Putouts (P) and Assists (A) for fielding. For pitching, it is W, SV, ER, BB, K and HLD.

There are all basic fielding positions, plus Util (DH), 1 staring pitcher (SP) and four relievers (RP). There are a total of 10 bench positions as well as 4 DL slots.

Trade reject times and waiver times are 7 days. 14 min innings pitched. Max free agency moves is 28 and 14 is the limit on the number of player trades.

Come join! It should be interesting AND very competitive. Thank you.

We have 5 teams thus far. It would be great to see at least another 3-5 join into this league, if not more.

Offline draft, but have your pre-rankings set and some draft time strategy for depth and quality. With 10 bench slots, you'll have room for players on other teams to avoid days off, but the quandry of which players to start when they are all having hot streaks.

Come join and put your knowledge to work. It's not going to be easy.

7 teams and counting....

Use the personal message boards to get updates on strategy in this particular league. Maybe even post your own knowledge to add to the competitive nature.

Very likely, going to add 2 more bench spots. The reason being that it makes sense to add more starting pitchers. Especially since the size will probably be between 12-14 teams, optimumly speaking.

Sign on, take the league in the standings if you can... and never look back.

At 8 teams... looking for more...

Changed wait time for waivers to 4 days and player trade delay to 3 days.

Removed the "Util" slot and extended the bench to 12 players.

Would really like to start with 10-12 teams this season. Come join the fun and competitive spirit.

Owner input is always welcome.
