pretty solid team, great pitching, id say none of those ss are worth picking up so try dumping a pitcher for a solid one, thanks for rating mine, and good luck

Of those SS, I'd take Eckstein over the rest. And I'll be very impressed if you get Nomar for those two SPs! Good luck! ;-D

Thanks for your comment DaNazty, I'll think about doing that, might play a serious role in me acquiring a good shortstop :) - thanks for pointing it out ;-D

Pick up Eckstein, he could surprise in the Cards high powered line-up. I'd wait a month or so and see how things shape up before trading for a SS. You may find that you need a 2B more than a SS. Who is Iguchi? Is is a Kaz Matsui, or Hidecki?

If Garciapara's owner gets hammered and agrees to trade him for the scrap pitchers you're offering then you have to jump at that. Is Omar Infante(2B) available in your league? He won't put up shocking numbers, but should give you stats in most cats. You need to keep an eye out for OFers as well. Never know when it is that Griffey will go down, and there is no guarantee that Williams will work out.

Good luck.

I greatly appreciate the comments and will look into all of the things you mentioned ;-D. I really dont know about the trade for nomar, but if he agrees it will be the greatest day of my life ;-) . i'll send the offer today, and i'll see whose left on the waivers as far as OF... no - omar was taken in the late rounds, I'm probably gonna pick up eckstein if the trade is refused.

Again - thanks everyone whose offered help so far! anyone who needs help leave a link ;-D :-B

Clearly I would go with Eckstein hitting lead off for St. Louis. ;-D
