Strong hitting, weak pitching - advice please?

12 team H2H - daily changes

R, H, HR, RBI, SB, E, Ave

C - R. Hernandez
1B - T. Helton
2B - R. Durham
3B - M. Lowell
SS - J. Jugo
OF - B. Abreu
OF - G. Sheffield
OF - J. Edmonds
Util - A. Dunn
BN - L. Gonzalez (AZ)
BN - O. Infante
BN - C. Izturis

W, L, SV, HLD, ERA, WHIP

SP - J. Peavy, Ol. Perez, J. Vazquez, L. Hernandez, B. Colon, D. Willis, R. Lopez

RP - T. Gordon, R. King, Y. Brazoban

It was an autodraft and I've made a couple of FA moves. I grabbed Izturis and Infante because I'm not sold on Lugo and I needed some more speed. I think I've got some good hitters and a deep OF. The errors is a wildcard category that I think is hard to think about. I guess just avoid the really bad guys.

For pitching, I'm screwed for saves, but should be strong for holds. I think I'd rather have fewer SPs and more RPs, but since there are so many question marks in my starters, I'm not sure who to keep. Having losses as a category changes pitchers values quite a bit I'd think.

Any advice is appreciated. I'll check yours!

Hitting is nice and solid, although I wouldn't like Durham as my starting 2B!
Errors is such a wildcard, as you say.

There are a lot of question marks with your pitchers, especially as a number of them are on poor teams (Perez, Vazquez, Hernandez, etc). But if you're going to drop anyone, I'd drop Lugo over any of the SPs.

Thanks. One of the main reasons I picked up Infante is because he's eligible at 2B, SS & 3B. Lugo's eligibility at both 2B & SS is why I'm hanging onto him for now.

is infante gonna get any playing time? i haven't relaly heard much about him...lugo isn't bad tho, i would hold on to him. your obvious strength is your outfield, so i would look to get a better 2b, durham has too many question marks. out of your starters i wouldnt say anyone is worth dropping. if you're gonna punt saves, then your pitching staff looks good to me

Infante is slated to be the Tigers everyday 2B and could fill in at SS if Guillen isn't ready to go by opening day. No worries about him playing.
