I know I am screwed at 2nd C as someone went $2 on AJ Pierzynski and Inge to screw me. And I know my closers leave a lot to be desired but for $4 I got 4 of them. Other than that, what is everyone;s opinion?

Also, we get 12 Contract years to lock up players past 05 with a max of 3 CYs per player. Opinins on who I should dign past 05 and for how long?

I like the team, even with all the closer uncertainty. You obviously didn't waste any coin on mediocre closers, instead getting solid OF talent to probably grab the near top of the hitting. Easier to trade a stud OF when you're set there for two closers, than try to trade your closers later on.
Why do you have to pick contract years now? I would hold off until it's required to submit them, but I'd probably give some to Casey Blake, Matt Lawton, Bronson Arroyo, and Pat Burrell.

very solid team.... your infield is solid, your outfield is super, your starting staff is solid and i would be willing to be you have more talent on your bench than any other team does.....

Real nice team. Your first 4 OF are 1st or 2nd rounders. You got Furcal cheap too. But you'll need to trade for a closer or two, but its all good.

I would feel a bit happier had I gotten another stud SP also, but I figure I can survive there. I mismanged by budget a bit going after Tex at 23, but how could I not? Probably would have been better off though waiting 1b out a bit more as they started falling like flies for chump change late. The extra money would have been better spent on a SP and a closer and I probably could have then gotten D Lee for all of $7-8 later too. But hindsight is 20-20 and Tex still went at a discount. I can always deal Tex or Huff for some pitching too.

On anoher note, needless to say Olivo was the last C grabbed at $1 by myself. I missed Buck on the board. Probably going to drop Olivo for Buck? Opinions?
