Beltre. Had nagging stomach problems until last year--then he goes .334/48/121. Now he moves to a lineup with a heck of a lot more protection than he had in LA. Scary. Yes, I know that
Safeco is a pitchers park, but Dodger stadium isn't exactly hitter friendly either and the way Beltre was crushing balls I think he would have hit well over 40 even if Petco was his home field.
I think Aram will have a great year too. In all of the drafts I've looked at or been involved in this year Beltre is going no later than the end of the 2nd round. Aram is going in the 3rd or 4th.
So if you took Aram in the 2nd I think you took him a little too early.
I don't think you can go wrong with either guy, but I'd rather have Beltre.
