Why do people say that Beltran and Abreu are the best 5 tool players....
Vlad
Avg HR RBI Runs SB
.337 39 126 124 15
Abreu
Avg HR RBI Runs SB
.301 30 105 118 40
Beltran
Avg HR RBI Runs SB
.258 23 53 70 28 90 games
Vlad easily beats Abreu in every cat except steals which he still got 15 while Abreu had a great year on the bases...Bletran will obviously get alot more steals, but his average will be much lower and the rest of his totals shouldn't reach Vlad except maybe the runs...

Beltran going 5-10? A lot of people have Beltran #2 and some even have him at #1. I would be very, very surprised to see Beltran go later than 4, no less 5-10 in any draft.

In most drafts I've seen, Vlad has gone around 3, while Beltran has gone around 4 or 5, and Abreu around 10.
Vlad, if he steals 20-25, he will be the #1 fantasy hitter. I think he'll steal 20 this year, but I'd still take Pujols over him. Vlad 2nd. But I think people forget that Vlad was nearly 40/40 in 2002. He should run a bit more this year as hes healthier.
