As a Twins' fan, I hope they plop Podsednik in the leadoff spot. A .313 OBP last season? Hopefully no one tells Ozzie that Scott can't steal first base.

For those of you hypothesising the Sox' lineup, I don't think Podsednik will bat anywhere except leadoff and remember, Guillen himself has said that he's not counting on Thomas to come back before June, :~( and he questions how much he'll be able to play then :-o

That news is older than Jesusaurus. :-b Its a baffling decision considering how much the park favors power hitting, but to each his own. Pods should get his 70-80 steals, at a .250 average :-b .
