Position Eligibility (Centerfield)?

Postby Conner » Fri Feb 25, 2005 3:38 pm

In my league, we need two outfielders (left, center or right) and one center fielder.

It's an auction league, and I don't plan on spending much money on the centerfielder...so guys like Beltran (who I obviously know is a centerfielder) won't be interesting to me.

Because I'm going to be looking at some of the lesser known guys for that position, I need someplace that will tell me who played 20 games at center last year (or will be a centerfielder this year).

Most places only tell you outfield eligibility, but not centerfield, specifically....can anyone help me out?

And that's based on at least 20 games played last year? I tried to look myself, but couldn't find it...

Anyone else got any ideas on which guys aren't eligible yet, but will play there this year? I only need 5 games played at the position to be eligible...so even if a guy only plays there a little bit, that'd be fine.

For less expensive guys (but not necessarily cheap), check out Wilkerson (LF, RF, CF, 1B eligibility), V Wells, Figgins (2B,3B,SS,CF eligibility), Ford, Rowand (not cheap but not a huge pricetag), Mench (I like this guy ... all 3 OF slots), Freel (2B,3B,LF,CF,RF eligibility), D Roberts, Inge, Sizemore, etc.. Sorry I can't help you with guys that will gain eligibility this year but those are some guys that already have it.
