There is a manager in my league who they way i see him doesnt seem to no much about player value, he keeps offering me shit such as Tori Hunter, Smoltz and Byrnes 4 RJ, Matsui and Hafner, and then when i go 2 prepose him a trade of say David Ortiz and Jaret Wright and JJ Hardy 4 Sheets he rejects and says sheets is worh more than this, what should i do? do i not trade with this guy? or well does anyone have ne suggestion?

Either that, or don't trade with him at all.
sounds good. either determine what he values or how he values. for example, in yahoo leagues some people go by yahoo ranks. you can sometimes exploit this to your favor.
if he persists in his unreasonableness try to wait him out. wait until the season starts and maybe he will see that his ways are faulty. i find that a lot of inexperienced players make these lopsided offers because they afraid of getting ripped off so they only do things blatantly in their favor. sometimes, where i have thought trading with this person was better for my team than letting his team wallow in last place, i have posted links to this forum in hopes that they would learn more and be able to make a reasonable trade. didnt really work though. i guess i came off sounded like an ego maniac or they didnt really want to listen to my advice.

Exactly. There is always one guy who wants something for nothing. Why would you want to waste your time trying to deal with someone who is not going to give you a fair shake? Just move on.
By the way this is not half so irritating as guys who negotiate and negotiate, agree to a trade, and then back out before it goes to the commish. Or guys that keep asking for more everytime it looks like there is an agreement.
