Sox 2005 rotation

The Sox go into 2005 with 6 possible starters - Curt Schilling, David Wells, Wade Miller, Matt Clement, Tim Wakefield and Bronson Arroyo.

Who is the odds out man to end up in the bullpen? Probably Arroyo or Wakefield. However spring training will determine if Wade Miller is healthy enough to start the season. I think he will end up on the DL or in extended spring training. Something to keep an eye on as the spring progresses.

Certainly won't be Bronson....he is penciled in as the 5th starter. Best estimates are that Wade Miller spends better part of 1st half of season on DL, then something is worked out based on performance

Most likely, someone on that staff is going to get injured. When that happens, there's no need to go to AAA. Miller can fill in, and then, depending on his performance, someone might get bumped out of the rotation.

miller is odd man out. Hes on Dl and when he gets healthy the sox will give him some spot starts and long relief from then pen to make sure he is pitching well. I don't see him takeing anyones job here, unless an injury or someone is just plain sucking.

Wade Miller has yet to get healthy. For now it will be Schill, Wells, Clement, Arroyo and Wake. Once Miller is healthy I'm not sure who will go to the bullpen because Varitek has had trouble with the knuckler.

There is a good chance that by the time Miller is set to come back somebody else will either be injured or will have pitched their way out of the rotation. I just don't have a clue who.
