First obvious thing is that I have no closers. There was a major run on them in rounds 3 & 4 (problem of being at the end of the draft in a big league), so I decided I wouldn't take a low-ranked one, and would get good MRs later on, whilst watching for an unexpected one early in the season.

I've also got a fair number of late round sleepers (Closser, Swisher, Bartlett, etc), who I'm planning to platoon in the Util spot.

Any comments on the draft and areas for improvement?

LOOKS VERY WELL ROUNDED FOR A 20 TEAM LEAGUE. TEIXARA IN ROUND 3 IS NICE. IF ANYTHING SPEED IS SOMEWHAT SUSPECT, BUT OVERALL GOOD PLAYERS FOR 20 TEAMS

u could either punt the saves category r u could probably get some low cost closers like chad cordero or affeldt maybe
pretty good balance between speed and power but if anything u could probably use one more SB guy

Sometimes bizarre turns to gold however, last year i took Schilling in the first round on a hunch, and that sure turned to gold . Not advised, but sometimes doing the out of ordinary thinig can turn out good. I like the team, and i agree, i can't believe that was a 20 team league - awesome job.

You need to trade for some closers and maybe add a speed guy, but besides that you look good.

Man your team looks better than mine and I only had twelve teams in the league. I had a similar problem; no closer. There is not even one left on the wire.

that is a very good looking team for a 20 team league as long as you are active on the wire getting a closer or two then i think you could easily win your leauge

That really is amazing you got Texiera, Guerrero, Bay, and Peavy on a 20 team league.
