Takatsu vs. Kolb

I've got my pick of either in an auction.

Takatsu = $2.0 mil/2 yrs
Kolb = $3.0/2 yrs

I'm running low on my cap, and I believe these two are my cheapest choices left. Which seems like the better deal? I actually have Takatsu and Kolb with almost identical lines, so I'm thinking of going with Takatsu to save the money.

I personally like Kolb since he's with Atlanta this year. If you could, I'd pick him up because I think he'll have a great year playing in Atlanta. Takatsu is a good option too, but I think Kolb will get a lot more save opportunities.

Tough choice.
I don't really like Kolb's 2nd half and he just doesn't strike anybody out so I could see his numbers being ugly this year.
I think I like Takatsu a little better.

I'd take Takatsu. Kolb's non existent strikeout totals just turn me off. Take the cheaper option here, and go with Takatsu. I have a feeling a lot of people will feel Kolb is the better option, but I just don't see it.

I'd take Kolb. No not for that reason. Takatsu is going to get figured out sometime this year, I have a feeling. Once that happens, watch out. Kolb, while he doesn't strike people out, is less gimmicky than Takatsu which I think helped Takatsu during his first year but that advantage should disappear as batters get more ab's against him.

Kolb with Atlanta he will have more chances to pick up saves.

K's from a fireman are usually not that much of a factor. Takatsu bested Kolb by 30 last year. Kolb will have around 10 saves more this year. I have to believe 10 saves bigger than 30 K's.
