Justin Morneau lost only five pounds as a result of his offseason ordeals, but he still feels weak as he recovers from pneumonia.

It's probably true. He probably couldn't eat or drink much at all, so no apple juice until he got better.

Thanks for the update on Morneau.

I thought at first this was a joke but it's the truth. Justin had a difficult off season.

Since MLB can test minor league players we know Justin is clean but those types of illnesses take some time to recover from. You might want to drop him a few notches in your ratings especially if you are just in a one year league. Watch him this Spring. Keeper leaguers no need to adjust.

I think you can knock Morneau a bit futher down on your lists. There are some questions as to whether or not he'll be ready Opening Day.
