I don't see how a guy who's got barely anything left in the tank gets the nod over a 28 year old who after 278 games in his young career has hit a very solid .283/.370/.457. Jason Michaels should be the everyday CF in Philly, no?

I don't think it's fair to say Lofton's got nothing left in the tank. Even in limited playing time last year, he still walked more than he struck out. A Lofton/Michaels platoon seems the best way to go to me. I don't think Michaels is an everyday player.
