I would say more around the #68 ranking. He will get wins on the Cards, I would say more K's in National League, won't go as many innings with LaRussa but will have a solid defense behind him.
He is definitely a lot closer to that 68 than that 259, but in general (not according to these rankings though) I think he is a little overvalued. Aroudnd 75 overall is where I see him.
I heard an interview with him recently where he said he wished he was injured last year so he could have an excuse for sucking the way he did (his words). I think he is always underrated and see his K's increasing (not by a large number) this year.
For what it's worth, I ahve Mulder ranked as the #15 pitcher, and #70 overall. But the more I look and massage my rankings, I'm not sure that isn't a little bit high.
