I thought Steinbrenner promoted Boone to saint status after the 2003 season... I thought he was a one hit wonder. I had no idea he was coming back from the dead, I don't think I would even draft him.

totally agree with bostongurlie... the yankee effect has totally overrated him as a player... check his career stats.. nothing special i can assure you.

i suppose thats why im considering him in the 17th round....he may be better than whats left to pick from considering all my positions are filled and looking for backup or starter if he plays well

and he would be used a utility player anyway as i already have rolen at 3b.....just looking to fill a spot at the end of my draft

a few years ago when he was still 2b eligible his 20/20 abilities were valuable. since he is only a 3b now i think i would rather have someone with more power.

That's cool, personally tho, being a Sox fan, I would never in a million years draft him. Maybe it's because I see him as the no talent player that he is, or because I see a man who sold his soul. I think I would rather draft Bill Buckner.
