The Twins are going to have a tough chance getting a stadium. Record will not matter. While facing contraction, Twins fans showed it is more about the past time than the stadium. And, with the Vikings fan base growing as quickly as their lease shortens, look for the Twins to wait at least three more years until a serious plan is in order.

Haha. The Royals might be the worst team in the league. Tey will have wone of the three worst records. There's no way Minny falls behind them.

I don't know that their 2005 record will have much effect on their stadium proposal. That's been a hot and cold (on and off) topic so much now it's getting tiresome.

You would think winning three straight division championships would improve their revenue stream and they could afford their own stadium (ok, I know it's not that simple).

It's unfortunate. Fans will pack the house for opening day and the playoffs, but beyond that, you'll find more of them out on the lakes or at their cabins.

Well, right now the Twins are about one or 2 more comittees away from getting the stadium compeltely approved. Unless the State legislature oversteps its bounds, the Twins should be approved (the State is paying absolutely 0 cents of the Stadium, it's between the Twins and Hennipin county)
