You've got to be a KU fan. Are you happy with Bill Self? I am a Southern Illinois fan, we got the tail end of that whole coaching switch..........Williams to UNC, Self to Kansas, Weber to Illinois, Painter to Southern Illinois. I think Illinois got the best coach out of the deal. Look for SIU to do some damage in the Tourney.

No, not a KU fan...just stuck in the middle of KU country. However I do like their program. KU could have done worse, take Missouri for instance. They picked a hot young up and comer in Quinn Snider. He has done nothing but bring them probation and straight into the toilet. I only wish my alma mater (Kansas State) picked up a head coach like Illinois. Is the season for Illinois a bust if they don't make the final four?

Yes, I think at this point anything less than a national title would be a bust. For Southern Illinois, with a win tonight over Wichita St they will clinch their 4th straight Missouri Valley title. Anything less than another sweet 16 for the Salukis would be a bust.
I'm an U of I alum and anything less than a final four appearance and at least 2 McDonald's All-Americans in next year's class would be a disappointment. For the record, I think Kansas got the best coach out of the deal. Weber hasn't shown any ability to recruit, but he's without question a superior in-game coach compared to Self.
By the way, I was also wondering where all the White Sox fans are located. How about Pods in the Cactus league opener? 3 for 3 with a stolen base. J Greer if you look around this site I've definitely laid down some passionate defenses of the Sox's offseason. It will be good. If the pitching holds up, it will be good.
