has anybody heard who will get the OD start in pro player for the marlins??? i got beckett on my team, but burnett might get the ball then... just curious...
I like Burnett here. Among all starters, he had the second or third most pitches in 95 MPH+ range and the most 100 MPH+ pitches. TJ victims usually come back stronger and I think he is no different. I like Beckett as much as the next guy but his injury history puts him slightly behind AJ.

I like them both but I prefer Beckett. I believe he has more upside, plus as successful as TJ surgery usually is, no way blisters are more of an injury risk than a guy who had a major arm surgery in the past 2 years.

I agree... you have to believe there's a dermatolagist out there who can help him solve that problem. Plus, as successful as TJ surgery is, there is still a risk there. I'd take blisters over TJ any day, and Beckett's got a ton of upside. Soooooo... Beckett!
edit-lol sorry read the question wrong, anyway i have no clue i heard from diferent sources that it was 3 different guys with leiter thrown in to the mix, i bet Mckeon will wait until pretty close to opening day to announce who it will be, personally id let it be burnett

Yahoo has it Leiter/Beckett/Burnett
ESPN has it Beckett/Burnett/Willis
CBSSportsline has it Beckett/Burnett/Willis
Speaking of the Marlins - trick questiopn: who was the 2nd highest paid player on the Marlins bankroll in 2004, and how much more did that player make than Miguel Cabrera?

Cmon - no trivia buffs? This is a great answer - you should get a chuckle out of it.
