What's your leagues minimum innings pitched??

Postby TDS-MN » Thu Feb 24, 2005 1:06 pm

Hey All,

Trying to get a league set up w/ Yahoo, and there was some concern that our innings pitched number was too low last year.

I'm curious what numbers others are using, to see if what is proposed is in line with other's experiences.

There was concern that some people coasted after a decent pitching performance and left players on the bench. I don't know, I didn't really see it that way, but then again, I had a strong group of pitchers last year.

BTW, we were at 7 innings last year.

For H2H my league uses 30 IP. 7 IP is far too low IMO. ;-)
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

We don't use it, but I know a lot of leagues have a team minimum of 1250 IP.
Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray
