Guys,
My group of friends are Fantasy Football whores, but we've only been playing fantasy baseball for two years. We play Head to Head, 14 categories.
Lately, there has been a segment of our league that wants to move into a points based system (ie: single = 1 pt, double = 2 pts, a pitching win = 10, etc).
Does anyone have any experience with this? We think it might be hard to get the values correct, but at the same time we're intrigued by it. Any horror or positive stories about either format?
I will gladly help anyone who answers. PLEASE HELP, my league is about to disband!!!!

I'm in a league like that. Single is 1pt, double 2 pts, so on. we also include BBs (1 pt), K's (-1), etc. It works well, we like it a lot. The only problem is it's hard to get good advice from sites and other fantasy people b/c it's not a 5x5 set up. i say do it -- although it may take a little time to get used to which types of players become more or less valuable in your system

Did you have a different set up before moving to points? What do you like better about it?
