I just took him as my backup OF in a keeper league....what can I expect from this guy? All he seems to need is an every day gig.
The Reds might stink, but I'm still a fan!

It would seem so, but the Stros seem set on finding another option for CF, whether through trade or Wily Taveras. I have a feeling it's going to be a platoon situation for a lot of positionson that team for the first few months until someone really jumps ahead of the rest.

It's time to sink or swim for Lane. He's got the tools to be a good big league hitter. I think he will be pretty good. I doubt they will bring anyone else in since Berkman is expected to join the lineup some time in May or June I believe.

Hate to state the obvious but it will all come down to playing time. If he platoons I see 350ab's / 15hr's / 60rbi's w/ a .283 average. If he can get the starting job with 500ab's I think 25hr's & 90 rbi's is not out of the question with the average staying around .280
