Most are predicting 26 homers and 80 RBI's or so for Mench

I think that the Rangers inability to sign a good DH means that Mench will not be traded and that he will have a full-time job with certainty. I have seen people whine that he will not be able to replicate his numbers from last year because he will not get such a high proportion of ABs against lefties now that he will be playing full time. I disagree--when he had a full-time job for the last two months of last season he went on a absolute tear. I am pretty confident that he can be counted on for 30+ HRs and a BA that while not steller will not hurt you. This translates into some nice R/RBI numbers in that line-up.
