It may or may not work, you'd have to be very careful and make sure you have a large cushion over the team behind you in HRs if you traded Dunn to help out the team chasing down the first place team in HRs. Perhaps the team you traded Dunn to would overtake the first place team in HRs, but then the two teams behind you in HRs would pass you, so nothing gained. You have to carefully look at the numbers. Then, if you have an early trading deadline, which most leagues do it would become even more difficult to pull this off successfully.

Great discussion guys. I've decided that its fair ;-) .

And Adam Dunn for Steve Finley is very unfair. Who cares what happened in the last four years! Dunn is far and away better than Finley this year. Am I crazy?
