I'm eyeing him for my draft, didn't hear much about how he's shaping up for this season. Can anyone offer me any insight? Should I expect him to be pretty much the same as last year?

And hit 290+ and with about 11 Hrs and 60 rbis. He goes round 2 for a reason.

He's looking extremely overrated. His avg will be decent, his runs will be ok(weak lineup), his RBI will be anemic, his power is anemic and he'll steal a good number of bases. I've seen him go as soon as the 4th pick in real drafts and generally he's going late first round in a 12 team league which is too early for my taste.

If he is anemic than what is Pierre?...catatonic?
He should post very solid numbers. There is no reason not to assume numbers equal to or better than last year.

Yes 11 HR and 55 RBI are anemic in a 12 team league. 3 HR and 49 RBI is catatonic. In fact Pierres HR/RBI more than offset his SB/AVG last year and made him a middle of the road OF at best in a 12 team league.

Are you still arguing that Crawford is not worth a second round pick? Crawford's 60 steals nearly win you the whole category for Christ's sake .... he'll provide you a .300 BA and 105+ runs too. On top of that, he's developing some pop, and 15 HR this season is highly likely.

Most drafts I've looked at have him going first round. I dont' care if he win's me SB if he costs me HR and RBI doing it as he gives absolutely nothing in 2 categories. If he was consistantly going 14th-24th picks I could understand it but more and more I see him going first round and thats just too early.

3/49 is a career year for Pierre. I think he is juicing.
