If no team will give him a minor league contract, he could consider the Northern League, like has been mentioned. Bobby Madritsch was signed by Seattle from the northern league a couple years ago. And I'm sure many more, but he's one who comes to mind. As far as leagues that look at OBA and things like that, I really don't know. Just send letters everywhere, see what you can get. The Japanese Leagues are also an option but that's pretty far away and would be a culture shock. A lot of players go that route though, and some make it to the majors after that, such as Roberto Petagine is doing this year.
