Favorite Player?

Postby AcidRock23 » Wed Feb 23, 2005 1:13 am

Bonds' allegation that 'your favorite player did it too' made me consider WHO my favorite players really are and whether or not that would be remotely true.

My favorite players, despite my current interests in the Cubs, would be 1) Ted Williams 2) Sandy Koufax. I think that, from the biographical stuff I've read, these guys COULD have used some 'roids but they didn't get the shot.

Who else are favorite players around here?

Jose Canseco and Ken Caminiti, and I KNOW they were clean. I just KNOW it, you can't PROVE anything.

Griffey and Zito are by far my favorite hitter and pitcher combo.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Mark Grace always was my favorite.

There's a lot of players that I like, but when I think about it, I don't have a favorite active player.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

All-time is easy: Tram and Sweet Lou.

Active I'd have to go with Schilling. He's been responsible for more of my fantasy success than any other player, and I've loved watching him in the postseason.
